    a. Gooseneck Microphone

    • The gooseneck microphone uses separate AA batteries inside the microphone. If the batteries are depleted, the microphone may not produce sound. Replace the batteries in the gooseneck microphone.

    • To replace the batteries: Turn the fastening bolt at the bottom of the gooseneck microphone to remove the microphone, then rotate the microphone body to access and replace the batteries.

    b. Wireless Microphone

    • The wireless microphone will only work when both the handheld microphone and the transmitter/receiver are powered on. If the microphone is turned on, check that the transmitter/receiver located inside the podium is also powered on.

Also, check that the main power of the interactive podium has not been turned off.

The Touchscreen on the Interactive Podium Monitor Does Not Work
The touch function of the interactive podium monitor communicates with the PC through a USB cable connected to the monitor. A dedicated touch driver must be installed for the touch function to work.

    1. Check whether the USB cable on the back of the interactive podium monitor is properly connected to a USB port on the interactive podium's controller or desktop PC.

    2. If there is no issue with the cable connection, visit the Combus Tech website (www.combus.co.kr) and install the dedicated touch driver using the following path. After installing the driver, restart the PC and try again.

Q: I turned on the microphone, but there is no sound from the speaker. What should I check?

A: Wireless microphone issues are often caused by battery problems or a mismatch between the microphone and receiver channel settings. Please check the following two items first.

    1. Check and Replace the Batteries
    • Symptom: The microphone display is dim, or the microphone does not turn on.

    • Solution: The batteries may be depleted. Replace them with LR6 high-power batteries for high-drain devices and try again.

    • Tip: The batteries may slowly drain even when the microphone is not in use. If the microphone will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries.

    2. Check Whether the Channels (Frequencies) Match
    • Symptom: The microphone turns on, but no sound is transmitted.

    • Solution: Check whether the channel number displayed on the wireless microphone and the receiver is set to the same channel.

    • How to Check: If the channel number on the receiver (the device connected to the amplifier) is different from the channel number shown on the microphone's LCD display, sound will not be transmitted.

※ Is There Still No Sound After Following These Steps?

If the issue persists after completing the basic checks above, a hardware inspection or frequency reconfiguration may be required. Please contact the Professional Service Center for further assistance.
